Topic for spring 2016: Architectural Drawings, from Stone to Computers This course begins with understanding how using architectural drawings as we do today was codified in the Renaissance. It will then consider architectural drawings that explore shifts in technologies (graphite, paper, and computers) and in representational methods (perspective, axonometry, collage, and abstraction). Students will come to understand the various influences of drawing on design.
