Topic for spring 2013: Discutiremos la literatura que fue fundamental para imaginar las identidades nacionales en Latinoamérica, con especial atención a Cuba, Perú, y Argentina. La literatura es un campo de debate en el que convergen diferentes discursos (de la ley, las ciencias, discursos raciales, antropológicos, políticos, etc) y sujetos (criollos, gauchos, indígenas, afro-descendientes).
